Back to white shorts for 2020/21
|
Thank goodness. Did not like the claret shorts - more Villa than West Ham.
And the retro look, round neck shirt.
All we need now is to replace Betway with Rolls Royce.

You can fall out over Brexit and have a good old slagging match which can be a good read but over white shorts being worn?

Swiss my post wasn’t addressed to you so wind your neck in.
VickyforVendetta has been making false claim after claim lately and continues to do so despite being called out numerous times for it.

And the all white at the 2006 FA Cup final. Not so good memories.

Not really. It's money.

White shorts are good. But I don't like our hooped away strip, and cannot remember any major success we have had while wearing it. The 1980 all-white version brings happy memories and I don't know why we didn't adopt it permanently.

Why did your mate who designed the shirt tell you that London has been dropped when it hasn't?
We all know you're lying. It's tedious and pretty pathetic.

I liked the 2014 Alpari kit with the light blue shorts.
But last season's kit was a fucking abortion.

Totally agree with southbankbornnbred
White shorts!
White away with occasional sky blue with claret hoops.
No shit on the shirt preferably like all those silly badges!
Won't be buying one anyway. Last shirt I got was Fila 2003 home and away classics with Carrick 6 on the back and still wear them to matches occasionally.

In the 19th century, Jock football allowed each player to wear his own design of sock to distinguish the team members. I imagine tartans were used a lot.
It wasn't until 1928 that shirt numbers were regularly used in the English top flight, the first club football to do this, and a somewhat more satisfactory method.

We've worn black socks in 9 seasons - our very first, and then 8 years in the late 20s/early 30s.
